Software Engineer, Open Source Contributor
Restored VM live migration for clusters running KubeVirt in production, root-causing a bug that stranded workloads after CD-ROM ejects and hotplug disk removals. Authored a proposal for a component-level testing framework, then consolidated it with an overlapping Red Hat proposal into the unified design now shaping the project's test strategy.
Software Engineer, DevOps Steward
Own the CI/CD direction for p5.js: driving the migration of GitHub Actions workflows off deprecated Node.js 20 runners, and reviewing contributor PRs for supply-chain hardening. Root-caused cross-repo CI failures spanning Puppeteer, WebDriverIO and Chrome driver resolution; triaged and landed 10+ PRs across input handling, geometry rendering and the core graphics pipeline.
Software Development Engineer Intern
Engineered a dependency-free visual regression testing framework in Java and Kotlin for Processing4, with a custom pixel-matching algorithm and platform-aware baselines for macOS, Windows and Linux across 500+ test cases. Wired it into Processing's Gradle and JUnit 5 pipeline via GitHub Actions for headless rendering and pixel-diff reporting, and presented the design at the Processing Foundation Open Assembly.

Built and deployed high-performance JavaScript and TypeScript applications with server-side rendering in a cross-functional product team. Streamlined REST and GraphQL API integrations and managed CI/CD pipelines via Git and Vercel, cutting deployment times by 16% and improving application load speeds by 34%.

OptiFuse: Serverless Optimization & Analysis Platform
A 5-service Go and gRPC backend behind a Gin API gateway, containerized with Docker and deployed to Kubernetes, ingesting live AWS telemetry. Implements 6 function-fusion algorithms backed by Integer Linear Programming to emit optimized serverless.yml configs, with simulated gains of up to 40% cost reduction and 150ms latency improvement.
Go-Torrent
A BitTorrent client written from scratch in Go, with no third-party torrent libraries: bencode, torrent parsing, HTTP and UDP trackers, the peer wire protocol and DHT peer discovery are all hand-rolled. Handles magnet links, multi-file torrents, and resume by re-hashing existing pieces on start. Seeds as well as downloads, using the standard choke algorithm with four unchoke slots recomputed every 10s and an optimistic unchoke every 30s. The BubbleTea terminal UI shows live progress, transfer rates, ETA, ratio and an event log.

Collaboration platform for YouTubers and editors. React frontend; Express and MongoDB backend; AWS S3 for secure, scalable storage; CDN for in-browser review streaming; direct publish to YouTube.
